Catering Policies & Information

We customize any menu to meet the tastes and needs of our client. Our Menus are only guidelines for planning your event. We pride ourselves on creating the perfect menu for your specific event.

Deposits

A non-refundable $500 deposit is required to confirm your event date and time. We accept cash, check, or credit card payments.

Cancellation

The $500 deposit is non-refundable, but can be applied towards a future event. Cancellation after the full payment has been made will be dealt with on a per event basis due to the variety of factors associated with each particular event.

Final Guest Guarantee

Guarantee deadlines depend on the type of event, type of food, and guest count. A guarantee of two weeks before the event is preferred; however, we do our best to accommodate last-minute requests and bookings. When providing your guarantee or booking less than two weeks  before the event, availability of menu items are not guaranteed due to ordering and preparation requirements. Please note that late charges may also apply.


Billing & Payment

The balance is due one week before the event. Any adjustment transactions will be applied after the event.

Service Charge

There is a customary 19% service applied to all functions for energy, administration, production, and equipment.

Delivery

ChuckWagon Catering delivers to the Twin Cities and the greater metropolitan area. Delivery charges depend on mileage and the number of our vehicles needed for your event. Additional charges may apply for deliveries outside of the Twin Cities metro area. Ask a coordinator for delivery information on your upcoming event.

Staffing

Staffing needs depend on several factors such as the number of people, the type of event, and plated food versus buffet-style. A minimum of two attendants is required for all functions. One attendant is required for every 20-30 guests for a plated meal or for every 35-45 guests for a buffet meal. For any event with a service time longer than two hours, an additional charge may apply. When using china, glassware, and silverware, additional attendants may be needed.

Rentals

Tables, chairs, linens, china, glassware, silverware, decorations, tents, and more are available for rent. Speak to a coordinator for more information.

Event Cleanup

ChuckWagon Catering is responsible for the cleanup of our food preparation and buffet lines. As the venue client, it is your responsibility to ensure that the required cleanliness is upheld before your departure following the event. It is recommended that you consult with your venue representative regarding cleaning deadlines and requirements. Exact tear-down and cleaning responsibilities depend on the scope of services contracted through us.
